Any alternative for active medication in miralax (polyethylene glycol) that is not in powder form. Is it save to take laxatives with possible bowel obstruction/ impaction?

In brief: No and NOOOOO

In brief: Dissolve powder
The powder (polyethylene glycol) gets dissolved in water or other liquid-becomes tastelss liquid, not gummy.
Do not self treat possible impaction or obstruction. See md. Bowel obstruction can be a big deal; laxatives are contraindicated (i.e. Do not use) if obstructed. Fecal impactions and possible obstructions need to be evaluated by md before advising appropriate rx.
