In brief: Strong drugs
Polyarteritis nodosa is a serious disease affecting blood vessels.
They can be throughout the body and therefore can have effects on different organs, skin and other tissue. It is common with hepatitis, but can occur without that condition. Often it just appears. Treatment is usually drugs that directly effect the immune system, and need to be used under direction of a physician.
