I have orbital eye pain. What could this be from?

Many causes. Pain around the eye can be caused by inflammation, infection, trauma, referred pain from adjacent structures, headache or for unknown reasons. It can also be due to high pressure in the eye and other eye problems. See an ophthalmologist for an evaluation.
Orbital eye pain. Orbital pain is usually caused by a disease of the eye and can be described as a deep, dull ache behind or within the eye itself. Some of the diseases that can cause orbital pain are: glaucoma, migraines, optic neuritis, iritis and trauma.
