I agree. A good diet for depression is pretty similar to a good diet for overall health. Make sure that you are getting enough B vitamins (especially folate), enough vitamin D (sunlight is important), that you don't have an iron deficiency, and consider increasing consumption of fish that have lots of omega 3 fatty acids (salmon).
