Adhd symptoms typically become less severe during adolescence, and about 30-40% of adults who once had adhd no longer have impairing symptoms.
But, currently, we have not treatment that gets rid of this disorder. A number of treatments can greatly reduce major symptoms, but they return when the treatments stop.
