Hot salt water soaks for 10 minutes three time a day for a few days usually does the trick.
If it doesn't, you should see a hand surgeon for an evaluation. May need to be drained. Antibiotics rarely needed. Chronic infections may be due to yeast, in which case topical medicine might be prescribed.
