Can a kidney infection or UTI cause ovulation tests to come out positive everyday or close to it?

In brief: "False positives"?
One should always read the directions and information on interpretation of results and/or look for a link to a site for customer service.
Repeated positive results should not be related to an infection. I will share this with rei subspecialists also.

In brief: No
Interesting question for sure, but not really.
Those tests are 'positive every day' for many patients in my practice so i don't rely on them; it's not always clear why, but most either aberrant ovulations or an occasional bad test kit. For certain ovulation does not happen every day: remember the tests don't measure or even predict ovulation, they measure lh concentrations in urine.
