Hypothyroid/hashimoto's. Levels low. Constant bloating, distended belly, water retention. Tried more water, fiber helped little. What else can I do?!

In brief: See your doc

If your thyroid levels are low you may need to adjust the dose of your replacement.
It sounds as though your symptoms are consistent with an inadequately treated underactive thyroid. Even if your levels were relatively normal, your meds may still need adjusting while you continue to have symptoms.

In brief: Gall bladder

Gall bladder issues cause indigestion with feeling of bloating - water retention is a sign of liver stress / dysfunction.
First start with betaine hcl with pepsin available as hydrozyme from biotics might need 2 pills if you are <150 pounds 4 pills if you are > 150 pounds. Take this three times for 1 week once digestion normalizes - then start using b6 & choline. Do gall bladder and liver cleanse.
