What is tyrosine supposed to be good for, and in what foods it is found in?

Precursor for neuro. Tyrosine is an Amino Acid precursor of two neurotransmitters, norepinephrine and dopamine. Some patients take it to increase their energy, alertness, and improve their mood. However, it can raise blood pressure. It is found in dairy, soy, meats, fruits and vegetables, nuts, seeds, beans, and grains.
