In brief: Renal impairment

Renal impairment means your kidneys are not functioning normally.
This has a wide range of causes and often goes undiagnosed until routine blood work is obtained. Usually it is asymptomatic until advanced stages (kidney function less than 30%) at which time symptoms can occur.
