What is it like to wear a hearing aid or have a cochlear implant?

In brief: Hearing

Not sure exactly what you are asking.
Both are comfortable and enhance ability to hear things you otherwise couldn't without them. But neither are as good at filtering sound in noisy situations as are our own ears. Hearing aids may have feedback or an echo quality to your own voice. Implants don't but are for people whose hearing aids don't help them anymore.

In brief: Hearing loss

It depends on what type of hearing loss you have.
If you have a conductive hearing loss hearing aid would be sufficient. If you have a sensorineural loss, and if cochlea is at fault, then an implant would be appropriate.

In brief: Big help

It's like being able to enjoy the sounds of our world uninhibited.
For the ha, the new ones can be programmed to fit your individual hearing loss. For the ci, it's great for people to be able to perceive the sounds. It's not 'normal' hearing but with help, they can learn to interpret sounds well.
