This highly effective antibiotic has the unfortunate capacity to get into the semicircular canals and create vertigo (dizziness) when present in high serum concentrations.
This can be avoided by taking lower doses more frequently than the usual twice a day regimen. When the drug wears off, so do the side-effects. Not aware of any permanent damages.
