In brief: Many, generally mild

Slow heart rate, worsening of heart failure, potentiation of asthma and hypokalemia and low blood sugar.
Fatigue, sexual dysfunction are probably overstated. May have withdrawal if stopped suddenly. Potential for mild weight gain. Despite all these, Tenormin (atenolol) is usually well tolerated.
