In brief: Need oral treatment

You should be on oral treatment with an anti-herpes drug like valacyclovir (Valtrex) or acyclovir. The anti-herpes creams are not effective.
See a doctor ASAP for proper diagnosis and presecription for effective treatment. Good luck!

In brief: Be seen

There are several effective antiviral meds that can help.
Above and beyond that, tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil can help.
