In brief: Sleep :-)

Most of the side effects are dose-dependent and related to your central nervous system: sedation, dizziness or light-headedness, headache, "drugged" feeling -- and sometimes confusion and memory loss as well.
I have also known patients who had sleepwalking with Ambien (zolpidem) -- which can be disconcerting depending on what activities are done in that state.
