In brief: Very common
In my opinion, it's virtually impossible these days to get all the nutrients we need from food.
Our produce is deficient due to farming and harvesting practices, and our increasingly toxic planet and stressful lives increases our body's requirements for nutrients to help detoxify. We have no good food sources for vitamin d or iodine. I recommend multivit, vit d, and fish oil for everyone.
