Do you think that cloning is bad, not a human, but just parts of you?
Use of stem cells. Cloning humans is not ready. Use of adult stem cells to grow new tissues is in the relatively near future. This uses adult stem cells in tissue culture, provide a media that favors differentiation towards a certain tissue (like cartilage, bone, fat, etc.). These will likely become an option over the next decade, and they may also be used to help reduce immune reactions to solid organ transplant.
