Balanced is best. A postpartum woman should follow a healthful diet that is balanced. It is sometimes difficult to find time to make all the foods that are recommended. However, a visit to a nutritionist or a site recommended by her OB provider can make it easier to plan ahead and buy and prepare healthy foods. If she is breastfeeding she should consult with a lactation consultant, her OB provider or a pediatrician.
Balanced diet. Need balancing of diet to prevent muscle loss. Make sure you consume essential fatty acids, Amino Acids (proteins) and minerals and vitamins. You need a higher amount of the above if you are still breast feeding.
