Should I eat before working out or after?

Depends on activity. Answer depends a lot on the type of activity you're doing, how much you plan on eating, fitness level and exercise goals. For aerobic activities - eating right before a workout is a recipe for cramps and limited performance. But you do want some sort of meal w/ carbs in the hours prior. If you're weight lifting, you'll want to have protein in your system in the hours after you finish.
