If epilepsy can a woman have a baby?

Yes but carefully. Women with epilepsy can have healthy babies but the epilepsy should be well controlled and certain drugs such as valproic acid must be avoided. I suggest seeing an epileptilogist (neurologist with specialty training in epilepsy) before becoming pregnant in order to optimize treatment.
Can or should ? If her epilepsy can be controlled on medications that do not cause birth defects it is reasonable. This can be worked out with the help of a neurologist & perinatologist.
