How accurate are home pregnancy tests vs office ones?

In brief: Pretty accurate
Home tests may take a little longer to turn positive (usually up to 2 wks after you're late for your period) than a test at your doctor's office, but they will generally turn positive if you're pregnant.
There are some uncommon exceptions, so see your doctor if you still think you're pregnant after 2 home tests spread apart by a week or two.
