Can fibromyalgia get better over time? Depends on the patient.
FM develops due to ligament injuries. Amelioration depends on preventing deconditioning/weak muscles, avoiding obesity, exercising, and calmness of mind. Self-pity at having a disease is misplaced. Tis not a disease, but a multiple injury-vector generated disorder. Correct various injury mechanisms & tis possible to roll back FM.

As a rule the answer is no.
However, what you see is periods of time where you actually feel quite good and periods where you feel terrible.
