In brief: Use antibiotics

I am sure that every UTI throughout history was not treated with antibiotics and somehow we survive.
The risk of not treating is substantial as kidneys can be damaged permanently or infection can spread to the blood making us critically ill. Cranberry juice and increased fluids may help but get on antibiotics when you really need them, like with a uti.
