Yes. Supraventricular tachycardia (svt) is a broad group of dysrhythmias that include atrial fibrillation (af). Svts are a very common rhythm abnormality and af among the commonest svts increasing in frequency as we age. Risk factors include thyroid disease, age, hypertension, diabetes, and several others.
