Is there a simple treatment, even temporary, for eustachian dysfunction not related to a cold? I've had problems for years now. Thanks

In brief: Yes

The problem with eustachian tube dysfunction is finding what works for you.
You can try spray decongestants like afrin (but for no more than 3days), nasal steroids, oral decongestants (whatch your blood pressure!), oral steroids, etc. You may need an ENT consult in the end.
