What is "rush" immunotherapy? How is it different than shots or slt? Who is a good candidate?

Quick build up shots. Only some offices do rush immunotherapy which is good for people who travel often and can't get in regularly to receive injections of need to build quickly for life threatening reactions such as venom.
Form of IT. Rush immunotherapy is a rapid way to administer immunotherapy. Typically it is used for allergy shots and not slit. Rush it involves giving a patient all or most of the their build up allergy shots over the course of a day or so. It is not typically used for seasonal allergies b/c of the increased risk of reactions with this form of it. Venom allergic patients may be a candidate.
