I have a very rare spinal disease called adhesive arachnoiditis. I am wondering if there is any treatment?
Yes. First line treatment would be medications such as neurontin, lyrica, (pregabalin) or cymbalta. These have a beneficial effect on neuralgic pain. A more aggressive treatment could be used if pain relief from medication is inadequate. The most effective is spinal cord stimulation but an inter-thecal pump can also be tried. Finally, don't forget relaxation therapies usually taught by pain clinic psychology.
