In brief: Yes, very healthy!

This seems like a strange question to me as vegetarian diets are generally considered quite healthy.
Research shows vegetarian diets are associated with decreased risk of heart disease, cancer, diabetes & hypertension. The basis of any healthy diet should be a variety of fruits & vegies. Beans, nuts, eggs & dairy provide plenty of protein. See www.Sciencedaily.Com/releases/2009/07/090701103002.Htm.

I don't know if that is what monzttr7 meant; I don't necessarily associate "bulked up" with health, but vegetarians can be very bulked up and strong. Check this out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Pw5K3rBNjc

Yes, vegetarian diets can be healthy.
One of the key risks with a vegetarian diet is getting inadequate amounts of protein. There are many non-meat food that are high in protein, however, such as many soy products, dairy products, eggs, and seeds. A varied diet that includes foods with protein can be as healthy as a meat-based diet.

In brief: Lacto-vegetarian

diet includes dairy such as eggs and cheese.
Vegan died does not and is harder to follow and you need to choose foods properly or you won't get all the protein, good fats, and carbs that is needed in a healthy diet. Peace and good health.
