The treatments that work well are all prescription medications but unlike most other rx's they are not ridiculously overpriced.
I have had good success with topical clindamycin; if this isn't enough, tetracycline (contraindicated in pregnancy) and Erythromycin in pill form are often sufficient. The big-guns treatments that must be rx'd by dermatologists work best but are pricey & risky.
