Eating frequent small meals makes me want to eat a lot. Why is it recommended?

Frequent small meals. Are recommended to help maintain a relatively balanced blood sugar level; "small" to prevent consuming too many calories per day. If one eats several regular-size meals, one's total caloric intake will easily exceed 2000 calories a day & one will gain unwanted & unhealthful weight. Small meals may be half a sandwich & a small cup of soup, for example. Use a salad or dessert plate to help downsize.
