In brief: Several reasons.
There are several reasons for repeated nose bleeds.
Dryness of the nasal lining, hypertension, rarely tumor. There are other rare causes such as blood disorders, auto-immune disease and chronic infection. However, the most common cause of frequent epistaxis (bleeding from the nose) is a prominent plexus of small vessels in the front bottom of the nose. You may just need simple cautery.
