OJ. Orange juice is better for vit c absorption, but you need a lot to get a high dose of it. If you use naturally derived vit c, like esther c, than you will get better benefit.

Safe. You can very safely take 1 g of vitamin c daily. Many people take several times that dose safely. The worse thing too much oral vitamin c may do to you is loosen your stools.
When I have orange juice (for glowing skin) or anything sour-ish I develop acidity. Any alternatives? I take vitamin C tablets daily. Will that suffice
"Glowing skin". Is evidence of overall health and orange juice without the fiber is not the same as eating the orange. Taking vitamin c on its own is not good because all the vitamins work as a a team and does not "take you off the hook" of eating an appropriate diet of natural food.

Immaterial. The change in the color of the stool you described is not a clinically meaningful issue. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.
I was curious as to the effects of orange juice or other acidic drinks high in vitamin C on the half life of adderall (dextroamphetamine and racemic amphetamine)?
Juices in general. (especially store bought ones) have a high sugar content which may work against the goal of being less behaviorally or cognitively hyper. You would be better served by taking vitamin c tabs morning and eve. Peace and good health.
