I had a CT of chest done and it showed hyperinflated lungs...Which could be asthma-copd-lung disease right? Could these cause atrial fibrillation?

COPD. Not really, there is not direct correlation. However you are more likely to mat (multifocal atrial tachycardia) with lung disease.

Hard to say. Doctors often give an answer based on statistics, but people AREN'T statistics, and there is always a wide "spread" of answers. I had a patient with pancreatic cancer who was told he had 1 month to live, and lived 19 months.
