In brief: Very common
It is the fastest raising population of abusers.
Unfortunately, very common. About 50% of my patients are teenagers. The parents often have no idea. The biggest problem is that teenagers feel, which is unfortunately age-appropriate, that nothing bad will happen to them. Seeing their pears in troubles or even dying does not help. Find a psychiatrist who worked with teenagers, not just with addictio.
