Knowing what bacteria grows from the wound culture gives the medical provider valuable information about selection of antibiotics if indicated. Take care/

If the wound healts quickly it is not an issue - bt if it is weeping or wet or infected or inflamed it needs to be cultured if it is not responding to the antibiotic to see what is growing and why it is not responding to the treatment as given.
