In brief: Disease vs symptom
Coronary artery disease is cholesterol build up in the coronary arteries.
CHF is a symptom complex of shortness of breath . Unable to lay flat . Waking up short of breath and decrease exercize tolerence. It usually occurs when blood backs up in the lungs as a result of the heart not working efficiently. CHF is not a diagnosis as there are many causes and a source should be found.
