In brief: DASH or Ornish

Dean ornish is the only "diet" that has been shown to reverse heart disease with diet/lifestyle alone.
Most recommend that healthy fats be added to the ornish diet, however: nuts, nut oil, olive oil, avocado, etc. Another excellent option is the "dash" diet. Do a google search for the dash diet and you'll find it - the full pdf is over 50 pages. There's a short version but not as helpful.
