How can I choose healthy after-school snacks?

In brief: Some ideas:
Try to only only have healthy snacks available (only stock the pantry/fridge with healthy choices, or only bring healthy snacks as a part of your bag lunch).
If you're tempted to make unhealthy choices b/c of what you're doing (ie "let's all meet at the fast food place on the corner"), then suggest a different meeting place. Put a reminder in your phone that rings after school to "choose healthy".
