What are the different causes of diabetes?

Type 1 and 2. Type 1 diabetes is usually caused by decreased production of Insulin from the pancreas. Lack of Insulin does not allow you to use the available sugar. Type 2 diabetes is usually cause by Insulin resistance that builds in our cells. This usually happens due to obesity. The Insulin resistance does not allow us to use the available Insulin and sugar.
1 and 2. Type 1 is usually referred to as juvenile diabetes. It results from the pancreas not producing enough insulin. Type 2 diabetes results from our body developing Insulin resistance, preventing the body from using the Insulin and sugar it naturally has. Insulin resistance usually develops as a result of being overweight. It can develop in both adults and children.
