Vital sign monitors can now read both arterial and cuff blood pressures, ecg, heart rate, pulse oxygenation, breathing rate, temperature, cvp, eeg (bis), and in some cases even expired co2.
More complex devices can also monitor pulmonary artery pressures and cardiac output. From that it can compute systemic and pulmonary vascular resistance, stroke volume, and measures of cardiac function.
