How can I manage at home alone during disc surgery recovery?

In brief: Home alone

Try to find someone to help at least a few hours a day.
Don't be afraid or shy to ask friends for a little help. Having someone do some minimal shopping or looking into grocery delivery services can eliminate some stress. Just having someone stop by to be able to lift items or at least touch base helps. If this isn't possible try to set up 3-4 days of cooked meals, and do some planning ahead.
