In brief: Medical value? Comin
The medical value of thermography (or thermal imaging) is not yet proven / evident.
Thermography has military, screening, & industrial uses; for instance, to check to see which passengers have elevated body temp (1 of the symptoms of H1N1 influenza). It is being investigated to help with plastic surgeries & wound care, but its adoption has not been widespread or universally accepted at this point.
