In brief: The Blame Game?

In us we have historically felt that obesity is volitional and not a chronic disease.
We believe that calories in = calories out. Actually, the human body is not a bank, but a chemistry lab. Therefore, the disease of obesity is not the fault of the afflicted. We do not blame BP or diabetic problems on those suffering. Therefore, our compassion is tempered by our beliefs. Obesity is complex!
