What are uses of resistin in cardiovascular diseases?

None. Resistin (the hormone reported to cause Insulin resistance in adipose cells) is not a direct target of any available clinically used medicine yet although research has demonstrated that its levels are affected by various diabetic medications (see: http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/11201732). Insulin resistance is part of the "metabolic syndrome" which is an important cv risk factor.
