How does your current health vs your genes affect procreation (assuming you were considering having a child now)?

Gender? Effects ? The interplay between gene potential & health is complex. In some respects a male gets by easier since they don't carry the pregnancy & of millions of sperm, the healthier ones swim the best. The general health of the female influences quality of eggs available, tolerance to the stress of pregnancy & quality of nourishment to a fetus.Best health = best chance to express genes, worst = worst.
