In brief: NO!!!
I am a big advocate of taking vitamins, but that is no substitute for a healthy diet and does not begin to make up for a lack of vegetables in our diets.
Vegetables do contain vitamins and minerals, but contain hundreds of other extremely healthy substances- flavonoids, polyphenols, anthocyanins, organosulfides, carotenoids etc. As well as fiber. It is wise to eat a good variety of vegetables.
