Diabetic patient are at greater risk for complications such as cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure, poor circulation), nerve damage (neuropathy- resulting in poor sensation), kidney damage (nephropathy - poor kidney function), and eye damage (retinopathy- resulting in poor vision).
