Pediatrics
In brief: 7-9 months
Most babies at this age develop improved hand eye co-ordination and start transferring objects from one hand to another or directly to their mouths.
I think the earliest they could do it is about six months.

Pediatrics
In brief: 4 Months Old
Most infants will transfer objects from hand to hand around 4 months old, however there is some normal variation in development.
If you have any concerns with your child's development, you should notify your pediatrician.
