In brief: Go now to hospital
Nature's unpredictable.
So pack a small bag midpregnancy, stash it where a family member can find it, then go on about your life. However, if you feel a trickle or gush of fluid then call someone, put your bag in the trunk and head to the hospital. If no confirmation of rupture of membranes (rom). Then go home. If rom, you will probably stay in the hospital till delivery. So prepare, just in case.

In brief: Time 2 go 2 hospital
Once your water breaks it is time to go to the hospital but this does not mean that the baby will deliver quickly.
Sometimes the water will break during labor. Sometimes the water breaks before contractions start. Labor willl follow or can be started with a medication called pitocin (oxytocin).
