In brief: Fishbone
Endoscopy not really first measure.
Fishbone difficult to see on x-ray but possibly seen on "soft tissue" neck film. Most important is symptoms to determine if foreign body(bone) may be present.Child should be evaluated by a physician. After repeated episodes of vomiting or dry heaves, small flecks of blood are not uncommon. Persistent blood is different story and requires further investigation.
